Rubber Dipping Services

Anyone know a place that offers rubber dipping services? I need some foot insole sensors that me and a friend built for a medical clinic and need them coated in rubber. I am not sure what this service is called or even where to begin. I found this one place in Coquitlam that is charging $20 a pair just to dip them in rubber. I have over 65 pairs to coat!

Could you use any of the many brush-on rubber compounds? Or does it need to fit specific requirements?

for some reason when i read your post title i thought you were looking for a hooker :haha:

That would be one awesome hooker dipping! LOL

No, I cannot use any of the paste on rubber stuff. It has to have a super smooth finish which can be achieved with dipping. I've thought of buying a crap of rubber and mixing it myself but it sounds damn expensive.

I am not even sure what industry I should be looking into that would offer it.

Kintec Foot labs? or any orthopedic doctor can refer you to their favourite labs..

Alternatively you can go to Industrial paint plastic and buy the rubber and do it yourself.

Homedepot sold some stuff in a can for coating tool handles.
