Anyone know where I can buy DC Power Jack for the Toshiba Satellite laptop?

I have an old laptop that works well fine, but my stupid retarded sister busted it somehow and it's not working properly. It won't power the laptop to charge, so now I have to replace the DC power jack.

Anyone know where I can find one? I really don't want to take it in and let them charge me a fortune, when it'll be quite cheap to fix considering a DC power jack isn't that expensive to begin with.

do u mean the power adaptor or the actual plug in the laptop?
I'm assuming u mean ac/dc adaptor.

you can get them anywhere, they sell universal ones with replacable tips at The Source, Best buy, staples, pretty much any store along those lines has a set of universal adapters.

just make sure it's compatable. Bring the laptop model number and read the packaging.

It's the power jack in the laptop that's busted.

you'll need to either take it apart to look at it, or have the laptop sent in.

take it apart and have a look, chances are your sister snapped off the inner pin, chances are a smaller, local shop can order you in a new one to solder in.
