Avic-Z2 bluetooth sync up with blackberry problem??
 

when i had a sony ericsson, this was awesome, hop in the car, start her up, automatically syncs up to use the deck for a cell phone.

now with the BB, ive managed to do it once. but doesnt seem to auto sync up.

any known problems with blackberry's and the avic-z2?

I had similar problems with my Pearl and the AVIC-F90BT. The firsat week it sync'd up fine...then it stopped working. After I updated my firmware it worked again. Make sure you have the latest Blackberry Bluetooth update and also the latest Z2 update as well. There is some pretty good info in www.avic411.com

hey mike, can u tell me what bt version you are using on ur bb pearl? mine says micro something v1.1

checked the firmware version of the z2. its the latest, they havent done a firmware upgrade for like at least a year now. v2.0005000

It updates firmware and the maps, so well worth it.

yeah, but thats the thing, my z2 is maybe what, a year and a bit old now. thats the only reason why ive held off on updating.

my maps are still relatively new, nov 07 was the deck date.

other than maps, i donno what else the z3 has the z2 doesnt have? does it make bbt? does it come with a brass pole?? :D

OK, i think i got it to sync automatically now! it seems that blackberry likes to run it like windows. "click here to never see again"

normally i just leave my cell in my pocket, so it would need my authorization to sync up, since i dont both seeing the screen, it basically just timed out!

yay! got it working! at least i hope i have!
