Cleaning Tools

hey

How do all you people on RS keep your tools clean and grease free?

godwin 02-20-2009 02:31 PM

I have a self built ultrasonic parts washer when things get really bad.

Brake clean and a rag.

Just a rag. anything I put brake clean on will end up just as greasy the next day.

Snap On stuff cleans up pretty damn well I've found, don't usually need more than a rag, even for all my power puff soft grip handles I've decided were a good idea.

Are you a tech or a fix your own stuff guy?

A lil bit of both. Currently going to school to become a tech.

+1. i normally don't even bother to clean my tools, because they'll get dirty the next day. only at the end of the week i'll clean them a bit.
