i know where im going this weekend |
had snap peas & asparagus tempura for starters, medium rare prime rib, garlic mash w/ king crab legs a few weeks ago. prime rib was maybe 5% too salty, but that's if you're some hippy. i'll be going again on friday and i'm thinking crab dinner. my buddy had that last time and it looked really good. i'm a keg whore now. my buddys' a head accountant at their office so it's 40% off food. and we go all the time. $32 dinners = $20. he's really popular right now. there's a 20z t-bone they got cracking off that's pretty awesome so i'm told. you should go to the willingdon keg. because it's so stupid busy they have the highest turnover for steaks. but of course it's stupid busy. |
^ BASTARD! hahaha damn lucky man! |
I want 40% off too! |
now im guessing the fucking lobster and king crab they use are those superstore fronze shit correct? |

^^^ then what do they do with the claws and head? they don't serve you that shit.. they just give a tail (non lobster season times) |
Not really food related but for those in Vancouver a new Keg is being built in Yaletown right now. It's 3 stories, should be pretty nice when complete. |

Can't wait to see it, it'll only be a couple of blocks for me to walk to then. |

I ONLY get the primerib if I ever step foot into a Keg. I find all their other food and steaks to be pretty hurt. |
if you're getting bread, ask for the 3 cheese butter. shredded cheddar and i think mozza whipped up with cream cheese. durrrrlicious hurt my hand so i couldn't really go for steak or crab on friday so they hooked me up with some really nice braised short ribs served upon some garlic mash. obviously fall off the bone and really good in a rustic sort of down home way. off menu ftw. |
^ what you mean getting bread? you mean the complementary bread they give out? |
sorry, i find the Keg horrible now; Atleast the one out here. Palioti's is where its at! |
I don't see any reason to go to Keg in Richmond anymore now that we have Chop. |
^ Chop? Explain yourself! haha How much is it? etc etc |
i gotta try that place out too |

from the reviews i've heard Chop doesn't seem to provide any significant added value over other places like the Keg, but are more $$ |
