Why are all the planes crashing?

Because the US Army has Lasers attached to the front of planes, and are flying around blowing shit up....Well not really, but thats some crazy technology

I have no idea how they keep the planes stable enough to point a laser that accurately. All it takes is a tiny gust or bump and you'd completely miss the missile.

And imagine if the system malfunctioned and the laser accidentally fired towards the ground.

Statistic: You would need to fly once everyday for 15000 years before ever experiencing a fatal plane crash.

what if the villains decide to fire a missile as soon as your laser equipped plane flies over....

I mean it's still not a fighter jet the time for it to turn around and point at the missile the missile will be long gone at mach 3....

I don't see how lasers could be used as a weapon unless it's specifically targeted against a person's retina.
