Free CRA Certified Tax Software - StudioTax 2008

For those that want to do their own taxes and don't want to shell out money for Quicktax or UFile, you can use StudioTax 2008 for free. Others have compared their results and have found it to be the exact same.

out of curiosity, it probably isn't the best thing to do to download a pirated copy of quicktax and submit to CRA is it ? :haha:

what's the catch?

studio tax is not fancy.
think of it as a fillable PDF version of a T1 !!
for people who have used Profile - - its exactly the same layout!!

i'd rather use Quick Tax.. like user friendlyness ... and im an accounting student :) ..

Actually, there isn't any problem with it... I've done that the last two years. :spin:

Don't think there is one... some people on RFD have used it the last few years and they don't have any complaints...

But yeah... I'm sure StudioTax is best suited for those with really simple returns...
