Im pretty sure it's just bolt off and bolt on. In my case, it was just 4 bolt + minor adjustmentUnless you have hydraulic, I don't know too much about EDM, but for most JDM car it's like that.

dont u also have the squirters to deal with?

i believe u have a slightlymore complicated hinge system on the beamers, but its basically the same, look at the bolts that hold it in place, best thing to do is to use a hood prop or a broom stick handle on the front of the hoold to hold it up while u unbolt the hinges from the hood. you might also have a "grounding" wire, if i remember correctly (cant remember if that was an e92 only.

either way, hand tighten the bolds, close it down to check for alignment, then once ur happy, tighten the bolts. just remember how tight they were to unbolt, and tighten roughly about the same tightness.

Also use a small dab of loctite on the bolts. And dont slam the hood down, Carbon hoods dont like that all too much.

More than bolt on / off.. you also want to make sure the thing is mounted true.. a bit of finessing is required.. take it to a body shop.

If you take your time, and have a tape measure, or if you are super anal calipers you can easily do it by yourself in an hour or so...well with a friends help not totally by yourself.

just get someone to do it for you
