It really is a good looking car minus the rear. I'm currently in the market for a new car and the CC is on top of my list of cars because it looks good, pretty good build quality, cheap lease payments and from what I’ve read it has great fuel economy.

that is really nice seen a couple cc in vancouver. I dont think the rear looks bad at all. theres alot worse out there..... 7 series

The CC in general is a very tempting car at a starting price of 34k, which is the same price of a loaded GTI
Too bad its sluggish

Very nice! ^ I don't think these cars are meant to be driven like a track car, so it's sluggish for the softer comfortable feel.

The thing is, the CC looks so good in photos but in real life it doesn't stand out and doesn't look that good.

I haven't driven a lot of cars, but I've driven a CLS550. It feels very sluggish and handles like a boat. When you accelerate, the whole car feels like it's lifting off! Maybe it's because I'm used to the Evo...

going back to the original post w/regards to the gold coast model... 
it says on the spec sheet that the rear brakes are "stock"... those don't look stock to me  | |

the R32 gets a 3.2L V6 engine. the Passat CC has a 3.6.
