Not a fan od touch screens anymore, but otherwise it seems awesome =P

nice looks like sony ericsson's finally using higher grade material instead of the cheap plastic they used to use, that always turned me off when i had to choose between nokia and SE

its stupid cause theres no keyboard, prob a x1 update will have the same features
its also stupid cause its 12mp cam still prob is shit comparing to a quality digital camera @ 6mp.

I dont understand why manufactures are all on this megapixel bandwagon, no one other then sharp and nokia has ever tried to go with a better camera module (sharp staying with ccd and nokia using a variable F-stop) WHY!!!!!

That's something I don't get. Sony can make good cameras, so why not take some of that technology they use in their smaller P&S's and adapt it to their cell phones? 12mp, even for the majority of P&S camera users, is far more than is ever needed... and that's with proper F-stops, optical lenses, etc. In a cellphone that has none of these options, what's the point? The 5mp that's in my K850 is far more than necessary, given the technology running the camera in the thing.

# of MPs to the uninformed user is a measure of "how good the picture quality is", hence why manufacturers are jumping on it to market their products.

It's much like auto manufacturers and the HP war. Joe Smith assumes car A with 300hp will be faster than car B with 280hp.

In relation to the MP war:
Unlike some of you guys, I don't really care how good a phone camera is. I'm perfectly happy with my 2MP crappy phone camera, because I would only ever use a cell phone for those "Kodak moments" and send to friends wirelessly. Sure a better phone cam would mean my "kodak moments" would have better quality, but with that comes a more expensive phone and more data to send.

A better camera generally means the phone is more expensive, so I don't mind paying less for a crappier camera.

MPs are how camera noobs like me tell how good it is :p

On note, this phone looks sick... >.> i hope its under 700 this time tho.. i wanted the experia but 1000 is to much for me.. lol i could buy a GOOOD laptop for that price..
