Marcosf 06-04-2012 06:23 PM

whos up for a meet

Krovi 06-04-2012 10:56 PM

Sure? I feel out of place with a Mustang at all the other meets LOL.

kwy 06-05-2012 01:23 AM

Whats your Mustang look like?

I'd be down to throw a temp permit on the Vette for a domestic RS meet.

firebird79_00 06-05-2012 06:27 AM

I would bring my Mustang

Krovi 06-05-2012 08:07 AM

Brand new 2013 V6.

firebird79_00 06-05-2012 09:00 PM

v6 :fuckthatshit:

Marcosf 06-07-2012 04:07 PM

hey firebird my camaros a v6!:joy:

i had to sell my 350 1979 camaro cuz i couldnt afford the gas

firebird79_00 06-07-2012 04:20 PM

I just dont get people who buy a brand new $30,000 Mustang, camaro, challenger etc..... with a v6. If your worried about gas mileage then buy a civic.

My 97 with a stock v8 gets 19MPG and puts out the same hp as a 2013 V6 with slightly more torque. Theres just more you can do with a V8.

Marcosf 06-07-2012 04:59 PM

i guess thats one way of looking at it, but like i said i didnt get a z28 or ss b/c of the difference in mpg for that generation , but ur right with the new cars like the new camaros the mpg difference is small b/c of the technology nowadays

Krovi 06-07-2012 05:52 PM

Because the V6 is $10,000 cheaper.

Marcosf 06-07-2012 06:18 PM

yup that too, but maaan do i miss my v8

Krovi 06-07-2012 06:32 PM

Well my V6 has 280 lb-ft torque and 305 horses, I'm fine with that.

But thats exactly my point, your already spending that money on a new car why wouldnt you just go the extra mile?
Also its gonna be easier to sell if you ever need to.

Marcosf 06-07-2012 06:54 PM

nice! so should i make a new thread in the "unoffiial meets" section or just start it here

Well I could go the extra mile by buying a $5000 supercharger to generate more power than the GT and maintaining a better power-weight ratio, then I'd still have $5000 extra for other goodies.

I think you'd get more people if you posted in the meets forum.

firebird79_00 06-07-2012 08:49 PM

Yea but its still a V6

Nothing wrong with that.

kwy 06-08-2012 01:19 AM

It's a nice Mustang, Krovi. I think it just bugs some people because it doesn't have the "prestige" of a V8. I'd do a nice suspension set up and wheel/tire package and be happy with the V6.

Speaking of Mustangs, Key West Ford keeps bringing in V8s with performance packages and asking ridiculous prices for them..60, 70, 80, 90k..fuck off. At nearly 100k after taxes I'd rather get a new Corvette Z06.

Marcosf 06-08-2012 12:42 PM
