Any places that give free steering/alignment inspection?

Are there any places that offer free steering/alignment inspection in lower mainland? Any of the big chain shops? Reason being I want to check if my lower ball joints are shot or not. I don't trust the jack and wheel pushing method.

try going to short stop or midas for a free brake inspection and ask the mechanic while your car is on the hoist
