I don't get why you guys are so mad at them.. lol it's pretty fucking awesome making so much money in your late-teens or early-20's by playing some game you'll probably play yourself even if they didn't pay you.. Play for a few years, make some good money and buy whatever the fuck you want after. However, the guys that are well-recognized get a lot of "special treatment" at clubs and shit.. |

what's going to happen to pro-SC players if they suck at new SC2? what's pro-CS players are doing now that no body plays that game anymore? lol |
^ Poker ROFL I'm serious.. Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was a professional SC player on the "AMD" team and he won millions off poker recently..a few good finishes and won like 3 major tournaments or something. |

I think i could have beat both of them if they allied up against me :D |
this guy needs to go get laid! |
That's fucking awesome! Maybe one day there will be a game that's mainstream to watch competitions of on TV. Might hard to identify and get into without real faces/people to watch. Might be a solution to that some day. It's like sports but all brainpower. I saw a Starcraft 2 demo that was a 1on1 match and had commentators, it was really entertaining to watch. |

Anyway, once you're in this level of competition, it's not really all "fun and games." It's like any professional sport, these guys aren't just playing every weekend when it's convienent like what we do. These guys play at least 6-8 hrs on a daily basis to practice/train. (Like what pro atheletes would do according to the sport they play). And I always thought Boxer was the highest paid gamer, not NaDa... |
michael tse needs to get paid for wc3... he was #1 in West for the longest time XD that and playing 3 years of competitive cs has ruined my life hahaha |

^ I must of read it wrong somewhere then. I still think BoxeR is still more famous than NaDa, and I'm sure BoxeR would have his own endorsements and stuff. |
They actually have girl fanclubs in Korea for Starcraft players. Pretty sure they get pussy. |
Anyone know how much top counter-strike players make? |
Actually, SK Gaming, I believe (or rather Ensidia as they're known now since they merged with...Curse, I think) are sponsored World of Warcraft players. Not surprised at all. For anyone that thinks this is sad...you're getting paid a fuck ton of money to PLAY FUCKING VIDEO GAMES. Tell those nerds to get some sun and women if you want but they have enough money to buy your women...and possibly your sunlight. |

I don't think most of you understand what it means to be, for instance, the #1 SC player in Korea. In Korea, the #1 SC player will make Bard Pitt, comparatively, look like William Hung. They'll make more money, and get more women that any of you here. |
