I've always said, they should make this rule. You get injured, you get ejected off the field for a certain amount of time, like 10-20 mins. You DO need time to RECOVER afterall... right? 
If it doesn't really hurt that much, get up and play on. Soccer doesn't penalize the divers, that's why everyone does it. It's pathetic. I don't even know why they do it.
Maybe soccer doesn't use instant replay as much as hockey or other sports.
I mean on camera, you can definately tell whether you're diving or not, so I don't see the point.
