house of tools is shutting down every thing on sale it sad there closeing all the store's in bc and every thing is on sale so stuff for cheep some stuff not so cheep |
That store was awful. The few times I was in there, it was super expencive or they didnt have basic things a hardware/tool place should have had. I forget exactly what it was, but I think they were out of 8x1" wood screws.. wtf |
If they've got torque wrenches for cheap, I'm there! |
I think I shall check it out. |
I'll go have a look on Tuesday, but in general I've always seen their house brand stuff as being pretty crappy. They had good prices on name brand, but their Power Fist or whatever it is couldn't compete at all with Crappy Tire. |

They're not leaving until the end of May was what they told me. I got a sweet Makita 7" rotary sander/polisher so I can do some serious paint buffing. |

went there today, got some cheap impact sockets. talked to one of the employees, apparantly there is a new tool store coming in after house of tools is gone, and they are hiring back most of the current employees. They said is was a canadian store, so I'm thinking it could be Busybee Tools or Princess Auto maybe? |
Princess Auto... please, please, please. |
yae no shit eh i need more power fist |
Powerfist makes good grind or cut 'em up tools :) and the variety of other stuff they have is stupidly useful... I got all the stuff needed to fix up my car trailer for under $100... well other than a new wood deck. |
You guys should check out Powerfists website.... :D |
what a sweet web site must have taken hours to make |
good bye house of fools but seriously the employees ive dealt with there have never being anything but thick with retarded ohwell maybe i can pick myself up a router from them |
