Ipod gayness

Alright techies, i've got some issues again with my ipod nano 3rd generation.
I dont know what happened to it, but i was using it and then turn it off, locked it. So it's in my pocket the whole time i was out didnt use it, only the time on the bus. And then i take it out again and then it doesnt turn on, and when i connect to the computer it doesn't turn on.

I dont know why it's dead.
ANy suggestions?

dont tell me to go buy another or give some lame posts like that.

Have you tried leaving it plugged in for a while to charge up and then do a hard reset?

twitchyzero 03-21-2009 08:44 PM

so comp wont detect it at all?
how's the warranty?

LC21 03-21-2009 09:31 PM

Uhm its past the warranty date been atleast 1year guys..
Computer doesnt detect it, since it wont power on.
Currently it's just plugged into the computer.. seeing if it can detect anything after a while.

k guys i got this shit going again by holding center button?

why is it soo glitchy???

You restarted it. What do you mean by glitchy? Like it lags? The pixels are weird? What's going on?

No just didnt turn on a first and then i held the center button.

It happened to my other 3rd gen ipod..... a while back and i totally forgot about the center button thing.

when you got it back on again, did it ask for a date, etc? I had that happen to my old one when I left it stored too long and the battery died, when I recharged it I had to hold the centre button to get it to power on. if this happens a lot your battery might be going, since you're 1 year past your warranty that's the designed end of your ipods lifespan anyways.

just don't buy another ipod if you replace this one lol
