Can I get my 4:24 minutes back please.
Wow I have seen American ignorance being interviewed on the news (namely that crazy chick who bashed canada left right and centre, names not important enough to remember)
But THE WHOLE BLOODY "NEWS" ROOM? Now I wish I was ignorant from seeing that |

I just watched it again, buddy doesn't seem to realize that there are quite a few countries with little to no military.
Someone broadcast this into space, I'd love to see if any alien races want to challenge the US as the "most powerful country in the universe."
buddy with the stupid beige shirt and blue tie mocking the RCMP? Uh buddy, the red coats and horses are symbolic now (or else so many of us on here wouldn't have speeding tickets). I believe we even use the same cop cars. Which I kinda wonder why we use domestics for cop cars anyways, Toyota builds more cars in Canada than any of the big 3, the RCMP should set up a deal with them haha

someone needs to call in to these fuckers and remind them what happens when our poor underequipped airborne PPCLI participated in war games with them about 8 years back, the one company of Canadians PWN3D a battalion of there "elite" rangers
then remind them about our contributions in WWII that they failed to even join until the basically had to due to the japanese attack
and then remind them about the time we burnt down the whitehouse in the war of 1812

After 116 Canadian military personel have given their lives in Afganistan. Fox news belittles and mocks the Canadian military. Claim they did not even know they were there. These are the people who keep Americans up to date and mis-informed

My e-mail to redeye@foxnews.com :
To the Attention of Greg Gutless,
I recently viewed an excerpt from your 'news' show, Red Eye, on youtube, in which you make an absolute ass of yourself trying to belittle Canada's efforts in Afghanistan. I am absolutely disgusted by your abuse of freedom of speech, a freedom won for you by tough men and women who fought and died in conflicts around the globe. Tough men and women like them are fighting for freedoms like the one you abuse in Afghanistan, and are VOLUNTARILY there, wearing Canadian uniforms. A disproportionately high number of these Canadians have given their lives ( as said by the US ambassador to Afghanistan http://www.nationalpost.com/story.html?id=399064 - though it was printed by a credible news source, which I assume you have no access to inside the walls of FOX 'news') to the cause, so that Afghanis (many of whom live in conditions that would leave you dead and rotting in the space of a week) can live better lives. Not because the Canadian army is undertrained, underfunded, or underequipped, but because they are fighting in Kandahar, one of the most dangerous areas of a particularly volatile country.
Canada, a country with roughly the same population as California, has consistently stood up for people the world over, in places most people like yourself and your Faux news team couldn't pronounce, let alone find on a map. On the day your piece aired, 4 more Canadian soldiers lost their lives helping the Afghan people. They weren't "running on beaches, wearing white capris," they were working out of austere forward fire bases, wearing CAD PAT uniforms, body amour and carrying weaponry on par with the American soldiers over there along side them. In the same interview linked above, Ambassador Wood (who is actually over there) had the following to say: "there is "no question" Kandahar is a more secure place than it was one year ago". "There's no question that Canadians are doing the whole job," and "There's no question that the Canadians have suffered an extraordinary proportion of losses, bravely and with dedication." Why would you, with no experience outside of your own ego, think Canadian troops are doing anything different?
Men, and I use the term loosely, like you pretty much sicken me to my core. You sit back on freedoms earned in blood by your forefathers, and make light of the efforts of others, and call it entertainment. While it would be easy to wish you harm and ill-will, I'd rather wish you a dose of reality. I wish that you could live a soldiers life in Afghanistan for 6 months or more. I wish you could know the constant unease of being constantly shelled, shot at, lied to by the locals you're trying to save, and under constant threat of attack from roadside explosives and suicide bombers. While I know that bit of reality is unlikely to come to fruition, as you'd have to be actually accepted into the military (even the US Army has minimum standards you'd be hard pressed to meet), I can offer you this small dose of reality: The names of all the Canadians whose lives were lost in the conflict you find so much pleasure in belittling. Think about them and the families and friends they left behind the next time you decide to open your ignorant fucking mouth.
I then copied the infor from this page into the body of my e-mail: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadia...in_Afghanistan

Who the fuck are these newscasters? All four of them in the studio sound like they have very little knowledge of anything and are spewing out opinions like vomit. The comments about Canadian Mounties? Canada being a frigid country with hearty people? Questions on if Russia is going to invade Canada? WTF |

America thinks they have the right to pick on whoever the fuck they want because they're "big-shit US of A". However, with Guantanamo, they broke so many human rights laws and never admitted to it. Above that, they're fighting a near-pointless "war" in Iraq, and over 4,000 of their soldiers have died since they invaded. Now....if anyone can tell me how many Canadians have died in Afghanistan, we can get a ratio between American and Canadian soldiers killed.
