low pitched sounding squeek from engine??...help!
Just happend this morning when I first started the car. It made this low pitched squeek, seems like it was coming from one o the belts. Went on for a good min. or so then went away. Drove it from Richmond to Burnaby with no problems or sounds at all. But just to make sure, anyone know what that was all about? and should I even be worried??...Thanks!
most likey it is the drive belt, i would check the belt condition (cracked, glazed, oil soaked etc...) also check the tension of the belt by pushing on the belt with your fingers. to confirm it is the belt, when it is making the squeeking noise when you start your car get a spray bottle with water spray it onto the belt and if the noise is gone then it is the belt.
