Wow...yeah, looks like it. You can see a pretty long length of cord following the guy as he goes into the water. Good thing they did the jump over a pool, otherwise, they'd have to scrape him up off the floor with a shovel.

So the waiver that they make bunjee jumpers sign, is it just waiver that they can't claim injury damages? or is it a waiver of the right to sue completely, whether injury damages sustained or not?

That I don't know. You'd have to look at the waiver form to find out. If I were to guess, it would be for both since they'd probably want to get rid of as much liability as possible.

Actually, the guy may have survived if that was concrete instead of a pool of water, because the cable snaps almost exactly at the point where it's stretch to the maximum and just about to rebound, so his speed was next to nothing when he fell to the water, and it just happens that the maximum extension seems to be only a few feet above the water...

the waiver just says that if anything happens they are not responsible. Kinda like jump at your own risk kinda thing.
