tire cleaning

for a while i've noticed that my wheels were quite dirty, like the rubber part... I've only had the car for half a year (first hand) and its dirtier than some older cars that we own

there's like this brown dirt that doesn't rub off... today I went to the carwash in richmond and used the tire clean for a while and thought that I've finally clean the thing but when it dried up it still looked the same...

are there any products made to thouroughly clean the rubber part?

Try picking up some good all purpose cleaner
Try contacting icanpolish or 911fanatic

Yup, just spraying on tire cleaner won't do it. You need to agitate it, my moms tires had that problem as well. I would get some APC, and a good tire scrub brush and then after when it's dry put some dressing on to protect it.

APC:

Kens local as well and has a great selection. Give him a shout (911Fanatic).

I have a few products that will work on the tires. P21S Total Auto Wash, Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner, AutoGlym Engine & Machine Cleaner and Poorboys APC.

The brown shit you see is probably brake dust... and not dirt... scrub your tires lightly with those green pads you use for dish washing... after that.. put some tire shine on it.. so the next time it builds up... it will be washable.. =)
