Does Anyone Have a Completed GTP for Grade 12?

This is just crap and I do not want to waste my time making stuff up. I'd rather be working on other homework. Hopefully someone can help me out here?;)

something for grad?

ajax 03-24-2009 04:17 PM

Grad Transition Plan, I have to make a "Healthy Living Plan," a "Financial Plan" for after I graduate and a few other things.
There's some examples here:

WOW sounds like BS, I'm happy there was nothing like that in school when I was in school.

6insomnia9 03-24-2009 04:22 PM

Oh right that thing alot of schools are doing that...
It is better than Graduation Portfolios

pintoBC_3sgte 03-24-2009 04:24 PM

hahaha kinda feel bad for the kids gradding now a days, this gtp thing, harder requirements to get into college/university, haha but its funny that they have to have thuer L and N longer.
what happened to the good ol days of just doing CAPP and its over.... or is gtp kinda the same?

antonito 03-24-2009 04:28 PM

Are these things actually informative? I've always said that teenagers need more real life education (like finances and stuff), but is any of htis actually teaching you guys anything, or is it just busy work?

ajax 03-24-2009 04:35 PM

This is just a waste imo. Nothing that will help most students.

RFlush 03-24-2009 04:42 PM

Why is this a waste? It sounds smart as most kids who graduate high school have no clue what they want to do and how to prepare for it. Having to work on your resume, cover letter, financial plan and whatever else is needed is good.

ajax 03-24-2009 04:46 PM

I already the cover letter and resume done, but the plans? They don't help and the healthy living one is pointless.

Sky_2000 03-24-2009 04:50 PM

who here actually knew what they wanted to do in life at 18? Resume's are useless for 18 years old cause they usually don't have enough work experience and almost no educational qualification for any job that requires a real resume. Why would 18 year old's need a financial plan when they prolee make less then 10 bucks an hour.

lilaznviper 03-24-2009 04:56 PM

my year they just cancelled it then the next year made it mandatory

yeah, but how many people actually take a look at that shit after highschool?

I know I trashed my portfolio the day I got it back.
I was just happy it was done and over with and I got 100% on it.
