Adjustable Fuel Pressure regulators

Hey, I am unfamiliar with aftermarket fuel delivery stuff so I had a few questions.

I have a 1987 Accord exi with the a20 fuel injected engine. I picked up a IPT fuel rail and I want to put it to use. It is off a 1992 Honda civic d15. It looks like it will fit with minor modifications but I am unsure what to do about the FPR. I dont want to use a stock regulator but I dont know what to buy. What do I ask for when I go buy one, or on ebay what do I need. Will any fpr work? It looks like the mounting for it, will work for a honda regulator.

Ebay has regulators for under $40 with mechanical guages for pressure.

Why don't you want to use the stock regulator? Are you looking to increase the fuel pressure?

I got the rail from a buddy and I figure if I'm going to throw it on, I may as well use it for its functionality, not just bling. Using the stock fpr does me no benifit where-as an adjustable will give me a bit to play with and for future mods.

Isn't the IPT rail a stock Honda OEM part?

And unless you're going to be upgrading your injectors or fuel pump (and assuming you don't have any mods that require an increased amount of fuel), installing an AFPR will be merely a "bling" factor. But if you do decide to go for one, I'd stay away from the majority of Ebay knock-offs and stick with brand names.
