New bumper law?

Saw this A4 driving without a rear bumper..

since when did they change the law to driving without bumpers?

Do i need to take off my bumpers now?

bengy 03-25-2009 11:23 PM

newsflash, some people don't give two shits about the law

and technically, the rebar is still there, just the bumper skin is missing, so I think it would be legal to run like that.

skyxx 03-25-2009 11:25 PM

I believe it's legal to run without a bumper-cover on.....

!LittleDragon 03-25-2009 11:41 PM

The bumper cover is just cosmetic

The foam reinforcement that normally fits over the rebar would be missing.

Maybe he's doing a quick run to the body shop, or is waiting for the part to come in? Nobody in their right mind would drive a Euro looking like that.
