cd changer problem
 

Hi there im wondering where i could get my 6 disc changer fixed for my 1992 bmw 325i?
It reads "disc error" on every disc i put in, so ya just wondering where i could get this fixed.

get rid of it....fixing a cd player from 1992 is like updateing a 386 computer....worthless...

buy a new cd player with aux in and usb and youve got it made for the future....100x better sounding and 100x better unit

Only thing is i want to be able to have 6 discs in the player at once, and i'm liking my stock deck setup, sick of people breaking into my car for a stereo.

look at it this way....at 75 bucks an hour...a repair shop will charge you 75 just to get it in the door and 2 more to fix it...and remember that it might need parts too....an all they repair is the parts eneded....enough to make it work...and then you got a cd player that is 6 stacker...that still cant play mp3 cds....cant play burnt cd's and will break down again....but look original...thats about 300 to fix ish....depending on what they find wrong. and it will break down again....ive enever seen a repair last more than a year. that is a common problem with them at that age...its a teen ager(17 year old) its rebelling against you...lol

the option keith gives you makes you play and ipod direct...have aux...and have so much better sound...and at alot less...and play burnt cds and play just about anything

and you should have an alarm....you live in the coast...i used to drive a piece of shit chevette(dont ask it was gonna be a spl car) but even that car had an alarm starter with 2 way remote....lol...put an alarm in it...stereo or not...protect your investment
