does this kind of things really deserve a thread?....

you serious?

ikea, office depot, staples, furniture stores, almost EVERYONE carries a desk or a computer table.

on the cheaper end, go to outdoor depot.

Synaptik 03-26-2009 09:41 PM

LOL sorry but where have you been looking?? Liquor store? Your backyard? :D

IKEA, Office Depot, Jysk, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Staples, The Home Depot, ANY furniture store, all these places have desks... IKEA website is probably the best place to start http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/ca...kspaces/10707/

$240 for a cheap piece of wood and some metal poles. F*ck ikea used to be cheap.

I wish I had a place to store / use a table saw, I'd build all my own stuff.

Harvey Specter 03-27-2009 12:01 AM

Staples.

its actually very well constructed. sturdy, solid, minimalistic design.

i know most things at ikea are hit or miss, but this is definitely a hit.

AzNightmare 03-27-2009 12:44 AM

You know, with a bit of labour, even Home Depot and Rona sells computer desks if you know what I mean.

JSALES 03-27-2009 12:47 AM

ikea

agreed, waste of money.

Look on craigslist in the furniture section, got my L-shaped desk from there, great deals to be had.

If you really must have an Ikea desk, still go to craigslist, seems like everyone is trying to sell theirs, for some reason..

pandalove 03-27-2009 01:43 AM

mc donalds

chucki 03-27-2009 01:44 AM

look in the buy and sell and see what u can find, then bargain the hell out of the seller.

Ikea carries some good modern-looking stuff.

Future shop has some good quality stuff.

Whatever you do, don't go to The Brick.

xh3atyx 03-27-2009 05:18 PM

ikea sucks. I'm looking for something for urban and with style. glass top or something like that
