question about testing used head unit

someone wants to buy an old oem head unit from my old car. he wants to test it before buying. is there some way i can power it up to show that it works without having to install it into a car?

buy a corresponding reverse harness and wire it up to a 12v power supply and then get a raw speaker and wire it in to the channels

or bring it to a reputable car shop like us and we can bench test it for your buyer for a minimal charge
