Is ok. I use my old desktop to download moves and stuff and my laptop for gaming and msn and surfing so I should be OK.

Torrenting, and that kinda activity shouldn't be a bother, providing you're using the proper NAT transveral port forwarding and not some stupid ass DMZ setup.

That being said, it really exploits the RPC service as per the wiki article, and I dunno about you guys, but i've had that turned off since NIMDA

doesn't stuff like system restore and windows messenger rely on RPC?

did you lose any of those services when u turned it off?
