your pc most likely wont have a hdmi outlet. it'll be dvi.

check what kind of input your tv takes. some can take a direct dvi instead of using dvi to hdmi.

Your tv might accept VGA cables..

Have a look at the outputs on your video card, it's the where you have to start. I'm sure your Tv will have a ton of inputs for you. Most TV user manuals have a ton of info for you also, I know mine did. Then you can just hit up a local store or online for a cable. Just becareful if you are using a plasma TV, I'm sure you would want a nice IE window burnt into your screen!

Look for the outputs from your video card.

Look at the inputs for your TV.

If both have DVI, then all you need is a DVI cable.

If both have VGA, then all you need is a VGA cable.

Super easy.

What the guys above said. It would help if you provided:

1. Computer make/model (if it's an off the shelf computer), or even better, the manufacturer and model of your video card. (or motherboard if you're using on board graphics) This way we can find out what type of outputs are available.

2. Model of TV so we can look up the types of inputs it has.
