After the hamster becomes more comfortable with the owner and being handled, it shouldn't nibble at your fingers anymore...

Don't worry, I had a chinchilla for a few years that would never let me pick it up. It would always shit bricks and run away or start biting me.

I had a hampster that looked just like that then my sister crushed it to death with her hand. My parents then replaced it with another and she crushed it to death once again this time with her foot. Neither was on purpose but ya.......no hamsters for my kids.
