Homework assignment: What business to sell portable air conditioners to?

I'm doing a homework assignment. I've chosen to sell portable air conditioners (like the ones you can buy in Futureshop) to another business. So a manufacturer selling to a business (as a business to business deal).
The buyer is not a retailer.
But what business would want to buy 300-500 portable air conditioners?

i'll just list some industries and a few examples so you can start making your own ideas

- entertainment industry (movies almost always filmed outside of studios, circus and carnivals)
- camping & outdoors industry
- construction industry (for job sites)
- telecomm industry (again, for job sites. outside doing repairs or maintenance in tents)

air conditioners?

are you sure? I have yet to see any jobsite that will provide power for a air conditioner because it is too hot/cold.

the best suggestion i can give you is to do your own research, rather than relying on ppl from forums for suggestions. not to be an ass, but if you really want to sharpen your own business skills, you've gotta put in the grunt work and market research the product and its competitors, and perhaps even see who and where they supply. gluck with ur hmwk.

any company that has portable generators can surely spare some of its use for HR's sake. for example, in a controlled environment, like tents for network repairs on city infrastructure or trailers with construction equipment that also acts as a base for the construction team, you're safe from being weathered on, but not extreme changes in temperatures. this comes from personal experience in both the telecomm and construction industry. i cant say every company does this but im sure ours isn't a special case

this guys right. there's getting help (like taking out a student loan, taylor192 ;)) then there's outright asking for people to do your work.
