if it has blacked out tail lights then its beat 13k is a pretty huge hit, id stay away from the engine bay shot you can tell the car was from back east (corrosion on aluminum) and the rad isnt OE |
its a bc car, never been registered out east accordin to carfax and carproof. i thought 13k was alot too but after thinking about, a 2001 type r getting into a accident in 2002 would be alot to repair because its a pricey car. it wasnt written off so the damage was prolly fixed by honda or something. but what do you mean "if it has blacked out tail lights then its beat" |

this one is '01 spec. thanks though for findin that |
hypeR's were sold for around 35k new in canada no? thats garenteed frame damage for sure |
Honestly, some collision repairs can add up very fast and not actually be that bad in the end. If it was fixed thru ICBC then the before and after frame dimensions had to be recorded and in spec. If the car looks and drives straight there is nothing to worry about. |
im sure tom can comment on this too, but after having worked at the stealership for so long, you come to see quite a number of weird problems that start arising after a good repair even. everything from SRS wiring problems that the bodyshop overlooked to weird clunks from things like a captured bolt comming loose from a spot weld breaking why borrow someone else trouble on a car with a hit? |
could been from two of my buddies: Nathan L Or Chad V Ill ask them. |
