Vancouver 11th-best city to live in for men: online magazine

Vancouver is the 11th-best city for men to live in, says online magazine AskMen.com.

Staff chose the Top 29 cities for men to live in by applying a "statistical formula" to eight lifestyle categories, including liveability, sports and entertainment, culture, fashion, health, power and money, dating and sex, and "the good life" — and then considering some of the "less tangible characteristics" that make cities great. Vancouver, where the average price of a beer is listed as $7.50, is flanked by Rome (#12, $5.64) and Paris (#10, $8.82).

Among the reasons cited to live in Vancouver are the city's incomparable beauty and many recreational options. Chicago, where the average beer is a more affordable $5.04, scored the No. 1 ranking overall.

the fact that chicago is rated #1 destroys any credibility askmen had on this subject.
