whoever the owner is i feel sorry... it's a 325i 318 MEM License plate. So if anyone know the owner, direct the picture to that person. Wish i took more pix...

looks like theres a lot of dmg to the front of the car...

but damn tow from the back yo!

Leopold Stotch 04-01-2009 09:10 PM

it neeeds dollies!

whenever i see people tow from the back, i keep imagining that the front wheels unlock and fling outwards.

jlenko 04-01-2009 09:55 PM

It's a rear wheel drive car, so you'd normally pick up the rear end and roll the front wheels...

But... aside from the assumption made by the OP... How do you know it's not broken down or something, and the owner called to get it towed? Maybe it has a broken drivetrain, and the wheels are freewheeling as it is.

You don't know.. and raising stink against a tow truck driver (who's just doing his job) isn't making you look any smarter.

You're a smart one aren't you? Just because you've got a broken leg it doesn't mean you can drag it down street on the way to the hospital to get it fixed.

I think you're the one making the stupid ass assumptions.

If the tranny is in neutral, the rear wheels will still roll. I had to tow my old 200sx that way once...

did you woke up in the wrong side of the bed... it was just a comment, why take it so seriously. Doesn't matter if the car has issue or not but seeing that just makes you think wtf...

On newer cars, that will probably destroy your transmission.

According to my owner's manual (2003 C-class), even putting it into N and switching off the engine isn't good enough.
