I also would like to know. Gotta buy one for the pop - think it's time for a change - he's old school, one blade shave with foam..although he recently made the jump to gel.

No electric can compare to even a decent razor blade.

Not true, the higher end Phillips one's are great. They give you a smooth, painless shave. No irritation or razor burns. Works well wet or dry. Battery lasts weeks.

Buy one from Costco, they always have the best prices on these.

I have the Phillips Speed XL

Very few people will agree with that, but I guess it could depend on your type of beard. For me, even a $300 electric doesn't give me a close shave compared to a $10 Mach 3 or Quattro.

true. no electric comes as close to a real razor.

but i got the panasonic one with the self-washing docking base. I recommend the shaver..but dont get the base. it's stupid. it takes 5hr for a full cycle of clean, rinse, and dry. and the cleansing cartridge is ~10bucks i think or 1 or 2 months. since i shave in the shower, i just open it and rinse it out. not a problem. I got mine for about 260 or something. save yourself the 100 bucks and get the one with no docking. or get it to charge, but dont use it to clean.
