They've turned the motel into a MLK museum now. The building where the sniper stood were still there when my family visited in 1997.

Really makes you think.

what's scary is after 9/11 america washed Malcolm X out of their history, he isn't even mentioned anymore whereas he was once honored yearly... not even Black History Month mentions him anymore

were it not for Malcolm X people like Martin Luther King Jr. would not have been accepted as eagerly
