so... my stock rim + tire combination is...
205 /50 / 17x6.5 +52.5mm offset

and.. i wanna put these...
225 / 40 / 18x8.5 +33mm offset...

i have my doubts but does anyone know if this will work?

Wow thats way too low of an offset for you

Better put 215/40/18x8 rims with at least 40mm offset. 33mm offset is too low and the wheels will stick out of the fender.

How low is the car?

Youre looking at 6mm less inner clearance and 44 mm more outwards poke.

If you're at stock ride height, you won't rub.

Plus Mazda3 wheels are that sunk in anyways, you'll sit pretty close to flush or poke a little. If you're ballsy and you slam the car too you could end up with the nicest mazda3 fitment in vancouver!

I dont get what the fascination is with slamming cars.. Too slammed = ugly imo
