No Starblazers?

When I used to watch cartoons, there was only KVOS TV 12 and CBC (3).

Yes, sad. We also only had 28 channels (13 on the "kids" tv) unless you had SuperChannel. :haha:

og_greek 04-10-2009 05:34 PM

I also barely recognize any of the names in the original list.

Good cartoons I watched as a kid were G.I. Joe, He-Man, Transformers, Tom & Jerry, and I'm sure some others that I've now forgotten.

I actually had COPS action figures!

sas 04-10-2009 06:02 PM

COP was badass. The original list you gave- I don't recognize many but you may be younger than me.

I remember, Racoons, transformers, joes, robotech, Gem, he man, smurfs, thundercats and the All Stars!

What about The Oblongs? If you watched clone high and undergrads, you must have seen the oblongs... it was on right after those!

Holy fucking shit.....I REMEMBER THOSE CONJOINED TWINS. But I don't remember watching this as much as the other shows listed.

In Dexter's laboratory, lives the smartest boy you've ever seen! But deedee blows his experiments to smithereens..........there is doom and gloom when things go BOOM

IN DEXTER'S LABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

OffSea 04-10-2009 09:45 PM

^^^
I remember... it was called like Teletoon Detour, before they changed it to the crappy kids kinda channel stuff.

Undergrads, Clone high, Oblongs, and a bunch of other stuff..

RIPPING FRIENDS FTW

RayBot 04-10-2009 09:52 PM

The first cartoon I can say I absolutlely loved was He Man.

Then came GI JOE and Transformers, and at that time....if you didn't like either, or both, you were gonna be a gay kid growing up.

If there was a show that i would choose to watch over Transformers/Gi Joe back in the day....or made me forget about those shows, it would have to be M.A.S.K.

Am I the only one who hates reboot? Everytime it was on, I would try to find another channel to watch. But it was either reboot or angela andiconda or w.e LOL

Anyways, watching my sister watch these channels, the program sucks now. None of these channels listed have good shows anymore, and Family Channel is just rerunning all their shit over and over again. I'm surprised they aren't shut down.

I wonder how much it would cost to create your own TV channel and buy the rights to these shows. Name it...."Nostalgia TV"

Yeah... it wasn't as good as the others... but I would consider it a noble contender.

Did anyone watch Camp Caribou or Take Part (I think that's what it was called...)

I enjoyed the magic trick session they would have in the middle of the show.
