Cracked windshield question

Can you make a claim with ICBC about a cracked windshield? The crack is quite long and it happened naturally due to low temperatures and heavy snow.

you can. it will be $200 deductable. thats if u have the lowest comprehensive coverage.

you dont even have to goto ICBC. just goto a good glass shop. $200 if you have full comprehensive coverage

Really now, I had to pay $300 so depends. So check the glass shop to see which one is cheaper (deductible or just full out)

just goo straight to a ICBC glass shop. They'll take care of the rest. Very easy process.

if the W/S is damage by a "missle or flying object" - ie stone chip - the deductible would be $200
Otherwise the deductible is $300 for a windshield

Have a real close look along the crack. Its unusual for a W/S to simply break from temperature change. If you can find a small chip that'll qualify you for the $100 difference
