Buddhist monk becomes pop star |
yay for buddhism! |
I don't see anything wrong with it actually. I know of many Buddhist devotees promoting teachings while making money at the same time. I think it winds down to how he spends the money he makes that will ultimately decide whether or not he's just in it for the money, or if he's in it for what he says he's in it for. |
hurray for christi- i mean buddhist pop. anyone wanna join my band, Chi + 1? |
not really breaking news ... there's a Shaolin monk who defected to the US back in the 90s, and has set up his own kung-fu studio. He's featured on one of the Wu-Tang Clan's tracks reciting scriptures in honour of ODB |
