Video Editing/Capturing program.. Hey guys, I usually dont have a problem with this but for some reason my sony vegas 8 doesnt detect my sony hdv camera(Gay I know)... and the software that comes with the camera is lame.. For instance i'm only allowed 99 clip on a dvd no matter how big or small 99 clips max.. which is gay cause if i were to put abunch of 30 secs clips in it only takes up half a dvd cause it only allows maximum 99 clips...Roughly 2GBs So what programs do you use for capturing and video editing... Thanks!!! |
I use Vegas but I've also used the basic capture software that comes with windows XP as well. Windows Movie Maker, maybe try using that to capture then edit with Vegas as it has more features. |
Thanks quasi... Ill give that a try... I hate video editing... |
Another option is to use the software that comes with your camera to convert the video into a format that vegas will read. Also have you checked Sony Vegas website for updates? |
Yeah the software with the camera creates stupid file names for each clip... Instead of just having something normal like date and time of clip it comes with a 0000000000213215465 kinda number for a file name which is gay to have to follow as a timeline... |
