Stolen - 2000 Honda Civic

2000 silver Honda Civic 4 door sedan, no sunroof, no tinted windows, no mods, license plate 390 GCW
automatic

left side daytime running lights don't turn on, only the right side turns on. rear bumper has a crack on the paint, in the middle of the bumper.

few things inside the car - hanging off the armrest is a red napkin holder thing, on the dash is a bulbasaur toy, as well as one other toy

stolen from metrotown's underground parking lot, P2 area under the silvercity area, anytime between 6pm - 7pm

if people could keep an eye out for it, that'd be great

if you guys spot it, contact either 778 855 8423, or 604 727 8380

or 911

thanks in advance

my friends laptop was in the trunk of the car, and after arriving home, i was talking to a few friends, and apparently they saw my friend (the one who got his laptop stolen) online on steam

however he doesnt have a laptop right now

is there anyway to advance from this info?

I'm at metro every day. I'll keep my eye out, but Silvercity lot is pretty shitty. I've had so many "knock" prints on my windows from people seeing if my shock sensors work.

Mind you, steam can find out what IP they're signed in from, and from there, the ISP could find out what modem leased that IP.

But that's one giant ball of red tape if you wanted to find out.

If i was the theives i'd have "offline" searched for anything special, wiped it, ripped off serials, and then put it on CL. So pay attention over the next few days on CL/eBay/Kijiji or whatever the hell.

damn that sucks, will keep a lookout!

Yeah I was thinking something involving the IP, but thats a lot easier said then done

When we were in the security office, a lady came in and said her car had been broken into, parked in the same lot

good day to be a thief

However MWR34's post is still thankworthy
we're still trying to follow up on the missing items

Shun Izaki 04-18-2009 12:14 PM

wow that blows, glad to see that car came back.

Apparently there's been a rash of white paint buckets, among other things done to people's cars in the metro lots.
