You have to take resale value into account. Over and over you hear, get this one, there's too many of that one on the road. Ask yourself, maybe there's a reason why there's so many Acuras/Hondas out there? I'm sure people aren't just getting them just for the name (mind you, there are the groups of people who are all "~!~zomg honda ftw!!")

Just think about if you're gonna lease/finance, how long you plan on keeping it for, looks, performance, reliability, features you want, your own personal preference, etc..

Jot down points from each perspective and it'll become clear which is the better choice for you. I had this debate with myself when I was choosing between an S2k and a 350z. :D (I should say it doesn't help to think "I want apples, but I like oranges." I had that problem.) So really think through where your hard earned money is going to go to :thumbsup:

Genesis all the way .... the TL is so FUGLY that grill makes it look like a smiling pig...oh and from the back it almost looks like something that Pontiac would have made....no smoothness at all just chunky ugly...oh and it weighs a ton thus has a way slower 0-60 than even the Type S model it replaces.

The body is made in US. The engine is the only part that comes from Japan. At least this was the case for the last gen TL.

Its funny how brand stigma lasts so long. I'd take an Elantra over a Civic, Genesis coupe over Accord coupe, Sonata over Accord sedan and same goes for all toyota equivalents.

I thought I was a Honda fanboy too but Hyundai is stepping up their game.
