has anyone ever heard of the store down in surrey called openboxco? they seem to have such low prices on brand name electronics. i keep seeing their ads on craigslist and im getting interested in checking what they have but i wanna know if anyone has had any experience dealing with them or at least know who they are.

I had one of the guys there call me at work asking about something watch related which I couldn't answer for him and he mentioned that he carries a selection of 'clearance' watches, Tag among other brands. Never been out there but I have seem there ads around.

Bought an Ipod from them a year ago, great deal and it came with a warranty so I can say that their shit works. They had tv's, computers and a ton of other shit there as well. Alot of people bought from them the day I was there.

Well I checked out the place, not so bad, cheap prices but they do seem kind of shady... Also thought that you guys would like to know that there's a cute asain girl with funky drawn on eyebrows working there.

i bought a laptop 2 years ago from them....i paid $450 tax in (they dont charge for enviro fee) the box had been opened BUT the laptop was still in the plastic never turned on or used....compared to staples at the time it was $1200..
and last year i bought my LCD tv from them i got it for $1200 and it was $2300 at Future Shop
they offered a 3 month warranty in store for both products....VERY good business + at the time cute asian receptionist!
they are open to Public Thursdays and fridays....i would recommend very nice service and at times good products in inventory

im shopping for a new tv and just came upon this site. Judging by the responses here I get about a 50/50 vibe. Anyone know if the manufactures warranty on this stuff still exists?

They probably buy these electronics in bulk from the US and sell it for a bit more than unit price which is amazingly low. It seems legit and I'm itching to check it out, too bad its only open 2 days out of the week. I wonder why?
