upgrading to evo questions please help

hi guys, i currently drive a 03 mitsubishi lancer es that i put some money into and i love it, but im starting to really want to upgrade to the evo(preferably an 02/03). And i was wondering what a good deal is for a 02/03 base line evo? Also about how much worse would the evo be on gas then my lancer that i have now? thank you very much

$1 more than the next guy.

02/03 lancer pretty much has the same fuel economy as a newer corvette. Your Lancer Es is way better on gas than an evo. Type in EPA Ratings in google and compare the two cars.

By buying one of the two that was imported before Transport Canada realized that the EVO was different than the Lancer.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that the bumper thingamajig was lifted and that older Evos were fair game now?

AVS_Racing 04-19-2009 04:31 PM

yea i thought its legal to import them from the US since they took off the bumper thing

it is legal to import evo's from the states now. i wouldnt buy evos now since the CAD is so low compared to USD.

Yes it is legal now. Newtype Mitsubishi was doing maintainence on my car today and I saw an evo VIII there.
