Sandboxie Anyone use Sandboxie?. One of my co-workers introduced it to me a while ago, and I just started using it. I must say, it's quite the neat little program. It allows you to run apps within a space in which changes are isolated from the main system. Applications running within the 'sandbox' operate as normal, as the sandbox is transparent to them. For example, if you run a browser in a sandbox, and it gets infected with spyware or viruses, you can just toss out the sandbox, and set up a new sandbox with a fresh browser. Its great for people that have to share a computer, where some of the users may be clicking on all the free offers that normally cause spyware problems. |
