Saw this in the paper thought it might be useful to some.

So these are all unsecure and open to anyone?

Like I've been around town and picked up a few "free" wifi hotspots. But some redirect me to log in pages, and pages where you select your rates. And also places like starbucks, require you to use your starbucks card # to log in.

wtf... im sure there's a lot more open spots than this. just wardrive the city and see for yourself.

pretty much waterfront has a ton of unsecured wireless signals

they missed a few spots

yeah there's tons of hot spots but they require you go log in or have a membership
