It helps to provide us with some more info to properly assist you. What's your current setup? Do you have any amps? What kinda car is it? What's your price range? Have you had an experience with other speakers? The more info the better.

I have 2003 civic LX. Everything is stock. Im looking to improve the sound quality , without a distorted sound. I was looking to put in 6.5 componetnts in front , and 6X9's in the back. With a a pioneer premier deck and possibly a amp. looking to spend 700-800. I dont think i will get subs because i need the trunk space for my hockey gear.

You should definitely get a four channel amp in there with the speakers. It will allow you to have the amp gain set up in such a way that there won't be any distortion at all.

You could get a pretty decent setup in that price range.

I have Morel + Focal availabe, should be able to get you a setup in that price range.
