El Cheapo mufflers that look good?

I'm looking for something like the Tanabe exhaust for my sc.

But I'm too cheap to pay for that shit, and I want longer tips.

So does anyone know of a muffler that looks similar?
I'm thinking Magnaflow, since flowmasters look like shit.

I want the oval canister, with the stepped lip on the outer casing.
Tips or no tips, I don't care. I'm sick of the quietness of my stockies.

This is the dream

Magnaflow's good, not too expensive and its not ricey
At least I didnt think so, had a dual exhaust catback on my accord and I liked it

^ that's so loud.....

maybe too loud attract cops wherever you go

Why don't you just get a decent sounding exhaust and get the tips you want welded on after? FWIW, I have a Flowmaster muffler and on the V6 it sounds pretty meaty.

!SG 04-21-2009 02:44 PM

looks like the tanabe touring exhaust. its fairly quiet, barely noticable unless ur flooring it. basically it rounds out the stock sound with a bit more low rumble. i changed my y pipe along side which made mine sound a lot more grunty.

if u want the tips on that, its basically 4in round tips with an slight angle cut.

u can always get a pair of magnaflows with no tip, and weld on the tips u want.

Volvo-brickster 04-21-2009 04:37 PM

pull the mufflers

get straight pipes + tips

problem solved

JSALES 04-21-2009 05:06 PM

holy shit, that SC sounds like a beast

SpuGen 05-07-2009 11:36 PM

Chopped the resonators. Sounds the same. waste of monieeeees

Getting Mufflers once I'm financially good to go again.
Cost $50 to do. Who cares. Sounds throatier, and awesome at WOT.. but zero amounts of awesome when I'm cruising :(
