^^ the money signs were supposed to be MOBILE 604. i dont know why it turned out like that. i was wonderng if they charged tax if you payed with cash. cause i read in some other thread that if you payed with cash theres no tax. thanks in advance

paid cash, no tax

downside - no refund, no warranty, no 7 day exchange etc

whered you buy it from? cellworldco or MOBILE 604?

I've bought from both, and they neither of them charges tax. i don't think any phone store that sells unlocked phones charges tax if you pay cash.

and it turned out like that cuz they think it's a phone number.

im planning to get the xperia since the price is going down. but iono. im willing to pick up anything. have you ever tried the xperia?

LOL just bought it off kang19 yesterday. The phone's pretty sick.
get a used one.. the cheapest price i see is 690 right now, which isn't really worth it, Cuz it's likely to come out to rogers in the summer.. probably sometime in august/september.
but if you're gona keep it for a long time I guess it doesn't really matter

just a heads up on 604 when i brought an e71 from them a while ago

when they used to advertise on craigslist, that price would be plus tax.
you would have to ask about their cash price, as it was always higher than the advertised price, but lower than when u include tax.

Everything has tax, it just already included in the price.
Why bother wasting an extra 100?
When you can purchase it off ebay for less?

Still cheaper.

A lot of the time the prices in our local stores are comparable to the ones on ebay..
plus you won't have to deal with shipping/paypal/credit cards and you can get it instantly.

Anyways OP, have you bought your new phone yet?

i rather buy the phone in person so you can test it and all places is about the same but i just like m604 cause they're by metro easier for me =P

cellworlds a joke.. paid cash, no receipt and the phone fucks up after 2 weeks. i give it back to them to send and fix.. 1 yr later no call no nothing.. useless staff useless owner..

i dunno if its just me but i went in there twice and both times the staff gave me attitude and not very polite and snobby. this is at cellworld at metro by the athletes world.

^ I'm PRETTY sure the only thing by athletes world is cellular baby.. totally different store lol

any time i buy a brand new phone i go to cellworld co, they are usually pretty nice but i dont have many questions when i go in i usually know what i want and have already done my research on the phones.
