Used Oil Didn't know where to put this, so it goes here. After an oil change, where can i safely and legally dispose of the used oil? Will local shops take it off my hands? Thanks |

I do my best to distance myself from that store at all costs due to the sever lack of service.. but point taken on the nick names haha. Ill find a bucket (with seal able lid) and head down there this weekend :). |
I'm pretty sure you can dispose of it for free at the hartland landfill fill too. |
I have a 5 gallon gas can that I use to collect my used motor oil and when it's full it's off to my friendly neighborhood Canadian Tire. They also take used oil filters. |
I have a 55 gallon drum, I fear the day its full.. its a shit mix of gear oil and motor oil, something tells me Crappy tire isn't going to take it. |

Go to any gas station and ask them. legally they have to know were the nearest place to recycle oil is. |
